In this debocle I'd like to poke at your brains a bit and see what logical possibilities can conclude the notion of love with a Kantian viewpoint.
"Treat others as a mean, not a means to an end", if this merely states that you should instill this belief of treating others with a sense of respect and view eachother, as well as yourself, as free.
With this in mind, Love is a possesive emotion. When you love something you claim some part of "it" to be your own in an analogical and literal since.
So, now the question is, how can you love someone but treat them as an "end" and not a "means to an end"? I know this was discussed a bit in class but we weren't able to get everyones input on this. Feel free to go crazy with your hypothesis.
